Harry Potter Adult Potions Class

First wave Harry Potter fans are all grown up.  If you were a ten-year-old on June 26, 1997, when the first book was published in England as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, you’ve now passed your thirtieth birthday.  Harry Potter loomed large over your childhood.  You probably went to your share of midnight book releases and film debuts, and dressed as a book character for Halloween.

With all that in mind, it just makes sense to have a Harry Potter-themed cocktail program just for you grown-up fans.  Come in costume if you like, and bring your wand…

Tickets go on sale a month in advance, starting Wednesday, June 13, for $12.50 each, which includes two adult beverages and light refreshments.  Order your tickets soon, at homewoodpubliclibrary.org.  Madame McLafferty will hold class Friday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Large Auditorium.  Ages 21 and up.
