2020.

One of the many lessons that this year has taught me is the necessity of creating safe and peaceful spaces, where my mind can rest. In my safe spaces, my favorite pastime is reading and journaling. I had the privilege to take time to read many new releases of books that made me laugh, cry, smile, and most importantly escape to other worlds. Though this year has been strange and odd, writers and their publishers have been pushing out some amazing reads this year! I’m so excited to present to you, my favorite graphic novels and middle grade books, that were released in 2020! I wish I could put ALL of them on here, but these are just a few of my favorite new releases.

AS ALWAYS, HAPPY READING!

BEST OF 2020: GRAPHIC NOVELS

Now, this is just a word of precaution for some of these Middle Grade books. Some of the topics and subjects can be a bit heavy and they can be triggering for anyone with experiences with trauma. The authors’ goal in writing these types of books is to educate the reader AND lend a voice to those who have been made voiceless due to similar experiences. Now, back to the BEST OF 2020
