Lauren Oliver is an American author who is well known in the YA (Young Adult) genre. Encouraged by her parents who were both literary professors, Lauren Oliver was very creative as a child, and wrote many stories, poems and created many things.  She studied literature, philosophy and creative writing in college, and began writing for Penguin Books.  This spring, her book entitled Before I Fall will be featured as a movie featuring Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Logan Miller.
