The Homewood Library is proud to announce it’s first ALL ONLINE book group beginning in May 2017. Good eReads with Goodreads is to for people who want to be part of a book group, but cannot take time to come to meetings. All you need to participate is a Goodreads account!
Goodreads is a free book-based social media service. Go to goodreads.com to create your free account, then click on Community (on the beige bar at the top), and select Groups from the drop down menu. Use the Search bar to find the Good eReads with Goodreads page and join our group! (Already have an account? Click here to go straight to the Group page.)
Each month we’ll read a book (or genre) and discuss it via the discussion feature on our Good eReads page. As you finish your books, log on and post about it any time. There is NO physical sign up or meeting time/day for the group. Just go to Goodreads, sign up, and get reading!
Remember that this a perfect opportunity to use your smart phone, tablet, or iPad to access thousands of eBooks through OverDrive!
