Meet Anjie, one of our newest staff members! Anjie joined our Circulation Department part-time this month. We thought a fun way to introduce Anjie to the community was to ask her some silly (but very important questions). Be sure to say hello next time you see Anjie in the Library!

Greatest accomplishment? I’m really proud of myself for graduating college. 

If you could have a superpower what would it be? Teleportation!

Early riser or night owl? I come alive when the sun sets but I would really like to be a morning person. 

What app is always running on your phone? Kindle 

What’s the one thing that can instantly make you feel better? When I go home, and my husband and dogs are excited to see me!

Favorite movie? Mona Lisa Smile 

Auburn or Alabama?  Neither? I don’t love football, but I do love a good football party hangout. 

Which Hogwarts House do you belong to? Hufflepuff 

Food you refuse to eat? Beans 

Any pets? I have 2 dogs. Gummy (named after a bear) who is a beagle mix and Leo who is also a beagle mix. 

Dream vacation spot?  Edinburgh                  

Favorite ice cream flavor?  Salted Caramel or Orange Sherbet

Last book you read? I just finished People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry. I loved it! I will read anything that Emily Henry writes! 

Favorite Homewood restaurant? I haven’t eaten at many Homewood restaurants but I’m excited to try some in the future.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?  I wanted to be a gymnast. I think it’s because my older cousin took gymnastics and I thought she was the coolest. 

What are you looking forward to the most by working at the Homewood Library? I’m looking forward to getting to know the community and getting to be around books!
