The topic of change and evolution.  Something we as humans are more than familiar with, so why read about it?

Debating big ideas against the future, exploring the human condition, science fiction allows literature to explore the future further. Science fiction books can place humanity in situations it cannot or has not yet encountered, we can test our identity and inner nature against new and more extreme conditions. How do human values and emotions change in the future? (shouldn’t we be flying cars now?)  How much can the human race change and still be considered human? These are all questions you can intellectually ponder and answer for yourself (or your future self) when you indulge in Sci-Fi.  Unlike fantasy, Sci-Fi challanges your way of thinking and forces you to think outside the box, all things necessary in evolving as a race.
