Teen Book Recommendations: Aaliyah’s 2019 Favorites

As 2019 comes to a close, we are highlighting some of our staff’s favorite teen novels that they read in 2019. Today is Aaliyah’s turn. Aaliyah is part of our Children’s Department staff, but you can also find her scoping out the new teen books in the Teen Department. An avid reader of many genres, young adult literature holds a special place in her heart. Her love of Jason Reynolds knows no bounds. Enjoy her favorite books of 2019!

The only thing that makes her new life even remotely bearable is the strange boy across the street.
