What’s on my digital library shelf this week?

Libby/Overdrive:

Cozy Minimalist Home by Myqillyn SMITH

Format: Book

Length: 436 digital pages

Review: lots of pictures in this book and the chapters aren’t too lengthy. It wasn’t a lot of new information but it was inspiring. I probably could have found the same inspiration on Pinterest, but this puts a great deal of ideas all in one place.

Hoopla:

The Husband’s Secret by Liane MORIARTY

Format: Audio Book

Length: 13 hours 46 minutes

Review: I’m a little late to the Liane Moriarty novels, but after watching the HBO series Big Little Lies a couple of years back and enjoying it, I figured I’d give actually reading one of Moriarty’s novels a shot. I’ll admit, the idea of a nearly 14 hour audio book gave me adequate pause, but 20 minutes in and the time started to fly by. I’m now about 7 hours in and hate for my outings and drives to work to come to an end. I find myself turning this on every free minute I get. Needless to say I’m hooked and have lots of questions. I can’t wait to finish it.

Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker music by John WILLIAMS

Format: Hoopla Music

Length: 19 tracks (the average song about 3 minutes)

Review: This album really needs no explanation. I have basically borrowed from Hoopla to listen to it until I cave and purchase it for myself.

Kanopy:

Alaska:Spirit of the Wild: Exploring the Alaskan Wilderness

Format: Documentary (1997)

Length: 40 minutes

Review: I love documentaries. These are good for me to watch with my kids when I want to chill before bedtime and not be afraid of my children walking in. I’m not required to think too hard and I get to travel vicariously through my tv.
