This year the Homewood Public Library Teen Advisory Board has three graduating TAB members: Caitlin Nichols, Alleah Stringer, and Xeo Jenkins.

As Xeo prepares to graduate from TAB and Homewood High School, we wanted to recognize all Xeo’s dedication to TAB and the Homewood Public Library. From brainstorming for new teen events to volunteering, Xeo is always ready to help! Thank you for all your years of service to TAB and the Homewood Public Library!
After high school plans?
After High school plans: Attend college and study foreign languages and music
What are you most excited about now that you have graduated?
I’m most excited about the new freedoms I’ll get to experience and the new chapter of my life I’m about to begin
What inspired you to initially join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)?
I was initially inspired to join TAB by my younger sister because it seemed a fun way to volunteer at the library and meet new people.
What has been your favorite part/memory of TAB?
My favorite part of TAB was all the planning to be honest. It made me happy to be taking part in planning events for the library teens like myself and I’m sad that I have to leave it behind.
Any message you would like to leave the younger members of TAB?
To the younger members of TAB: Live it and Love it because it goes away in a snap! Enjoy your time in TAB, make new friends, and always be nice to Ms. Judith because she’s awesome. Always always be nice to Ms. Judith. And don’t forget to have fun!
