We at Homewood Public Library have missed seeing our patrons during the pandemic. To make up for lost time consider attending our newest book club: Read It & Eat! In this group, we will gather at Urban Cookhouse in Homewood to discuss our latest book club read! September’s pick is Amanda Montell’s Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism:

Our first meeting will be September 7th where we can discuss questions posed in the book such as: “What makes ‘cults’ so intriguing and frightening? What makes them powerful…We secretly want to know: could it happen to me? Amanda Montell’s argument is that, on some level, it already has….” The audiobook for Cultish is available for instant download on Homewood Public Library’s Hoopla.
