In January/February of 2020 the Homewood Public Library sponsored a contest to learn people’s library love stories.  We placed contest entry forms in our front lobby and added an online submission link to our website. In just four weeks we received 129 submissions, all of them spoke of the many reasons our community loves their library. From story time to adult yoga classes to Teen Advisory Board and theatre classes, they love the many and varied activities available at Homewood Public Library. Our community loves how much money they save by using library resources, not just books but streaming and downloadable books, audiobooks, and movies. There were wonderful comments about our warm and welcoming staff, who are always ready to assist with finding that perfect book or helping them learn something new to enrich their lives.
