Did you know that October is also Filipino American History Month? From picture books to middle grade chapter books, as a proud Filipino, I am so excited to share some titles and authors that highlight Filipino Americans. As the second largest Asian-American group, Filipinos’ contributions, stories, and experiences are prevalent throughout this country’s history, as early as the 1500s. Let’s celebrate Filipino American History Month not just in October, but every month, every year, and every day!
