- Her debut graphic novel Nimona won the Slate Cartoonist’s Studio Prize and an Eisner Award, was nominated for a Harvey Award, was a New York Times Notable Book, and was a finalist for the National Book Award, making Stevenson—at age twenty-three—the youngest finalist in the history of the award.
- Stevenson is also the co-writer of the multiple Eisner Award-winning comic series “Lumberjanes”
- She has written for Disney’s “Wander Over Yonder,” Marvel, and DC Comics, among others.
- She also created cover art for Rainbow Rowell‘s novel Fangirl
- Stevenson lives and works in Los Angeles and Stevenson married fellow cartoonist Molly Ostertag in September 2019
